INTERESTS: Having fun with the Grand Kids, Madison & Robert. They keep you going. Never a dull moment. Being involved in MOCSEM activities from car shows to cruises and as the newsletter editor. Co-organizer of the Wednesday night CRUZ’N 528 car show with my VVA Chapter 528 Brothers. Member of the Yankee Air Force as a mechanic and crew member on the B-25D “Mitchell” and B-17G “Flying Fortress”, flying to and working air shows. I enjoy playing Golf and Softball.

HOW DID YOU JOIN MOCSEM: I joined MOCSEM in January 1982, MOCSEM #373. I worked in the same office with Pete Duchon, who was the MOCSEM Editor. Pete knew that I had an interest in cars and thought I would like to be a member and invited me to the January meeting. As soon as I signed up, I was hooked. My first event was the February Swap Meet at Atchison Ford in Belleville. My involvement in MOCSEM has ranged from Technical Advisor for the newsletter, assisting in working at MOCSEM shows and swap meets; to showing movies at the general membership meetings and the Editor of the Accelerator.

CARS I’VE OWNED: I have owned many cars but these are the ones that I consider the most important. The others were more for transportation than as a hobby. They are in the order that I owned them: ’53 Mercury 2 Dr. Sedan, ’60 Chevy Impala (the only bowtie I ever owned), ’65 Falcon Sprint, ’67 Fairlane 500, ’65 Mustang Coupe, ’67 Mustang GT Fastback, ’71 Torino GT, ’78 Pinto, ’84 Mustang LX Hatchback, ’78 Maverick, ’64 Fairlane Hardtop, ’91 Escort GT, ’93 Mustang LX Notchback and a ’92 Mustang GT.
